If all things go well, HMD Global could launch at least two new models under its Nokia brand sometime in mid-to-late Q3 2020. I am talking about the upcoming Nokia 7.3 and flagship Nokia 9.3 that will be making their debut along with, if sources are to be believed, another model will make the cut too.
As tipped off by Nokia Power User, it is highly probable that Nokia could hold a launch event but it depends on the COVID-19 situation and how controlled it is worldwide in coming weeks. As said, the website tipped off two Nokia 7.3 prototypes that were in the testing phase of which one had 5G connectivity at a cheaper price tag.
A tonne of specifications related to Nokia 7.3 has already surfaced that you can check out. The device is expected to arrive with a 6.3” FHD+ PureDisplay with a punch-hole and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Next up, the device will arrive with Android 10 out-of-the-box with 4/6GB of RAM. It is likely to arrive with a Snapdragon 7XX SoC which is still a mystery. Based on a speculation, it could be Snapdragon 765 although take it with a pinch of salt.
Next up, the device will have internal storage of 64GB and 128GB. What’s more intriguing is its camera setup which comes from ZEISS Optics so we can expect it to be cutting-edge. It is expected to pack in a quad-camera setup at the back with 48MP primary, 12MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth and 2MP macro lens with ZEISS Optics. Next up, the front camera is highly speculated to arrive with a 24MP sensor housed in a punch-hole cutout so there’s no notch or pop-ups here.
Nokia 9.3 PureView is a much-awaited flagship device and could arrive with high-end specifications. I am talking about a 6.29-inch QHD+ pOLED 2K HD panel with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC under the hood and yes, it will have 5G support hands down. Since it is a flagship device, we can expect a phone with edge-to-edge display with minimum bezels and a sandwiched aluminum and glass body. It will also carry a whopping 6/8GB LPPDDR4X RAM.
There’s no input on its rear camera setup yet but since it is also supported by ZEISS Optics, one can assume it to be a work of art with excellent photography chops. 91mobiles hints at a quad-camera setup at 13+13+13+13+13MP Penta Camera setup which seems to be almost on every other tech site. Finally, the front camera will be a 24MP sensor, same as Nokia 7.3. Next up, the device will bring on-board a 4,500 mAh battery and will have Qi Wireless Charging among other features.
At this moment, we don’t have much confirmed intel on both the devices and also the third one that might or might not be official during the launch in Q3 2020. You can stay tuned on TechTantrum to know more.
