Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are awaiting its prime early access pre-order on Amazon India which is scheduled for April 15 (click here). But Huawei opened the P30 and P30 Pro up for first flash sale in the domestic market i.e. in China today and guess what? Huawei went out-of-stock in just ten seconds with an accumulation of revenue estimated at CNY200 million which is approximately $29.81 million USD or Rs 2.06 billion INR.
As we don’t have any specific figure on which smartphone was sold how many units and in which configuration, a rough guess is between 30,000 and 50,000 units. If you take the Huawei P30 low-tier 8GB/64GB configuration which costs CNY3,988, we get a specific 50,000 units sold in China in just ten seconds along but since there are multiple variants spread across two flagship devices, the figures remain between 30K to 50K units.
As per Vmall, Huawei P30 starts at CNY3,988 in China for its 8/64GB variant while a higher 8GB/128GB variant goes as high as CNY4,300 and finally, the top-end 8/256GB model goes for CNY4,788. Similarly, various models of Huawei P30 Pro are priced between a bracket of CY5,488 and CNY6,788 on Vmall which is Huawei’s own official e-store in China.
Another online retailer in China, Tmall, stated that it has estimated 3.2 million searches from users interested in looking after and buying the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro where 60% being women.
