OnePlus 8 Pro to arrive with curved QHD+ display, Haptics 2.0

OnePlus 8 series is all over the web as it is inching closer to its launch on April 15. Well, a tonne of leaks has already surfaced on the web with OnePlus 8 Pro taking the most leaks such as the 6.78-inch display, QHD+ panel, 120Hz refresh rate and so on. Although a spec sheet already surfaced on the web, reputed leakster Ishan Agarwal is here with a new set of leaks around the Pro variant.

According to Ishan, the OnePlus 8 Pro will arrive with a wholesome 6.78-inch QHD+ curved panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz which is basically 25 percent higher than OnePlus 7T series that was clocked at 90Hz. Apart from that, the display will also support HDR10+ and will get an improved color-accuracy and Motion Estimation/Motion Compensation (MEMC) that will collectively make the display fabulous than others.

OnePlus 8 Pro is also one of the candidates that will boast brightness of up to 1,400 nits which is 400 nits greater than OnePlus 7T as well as 600 nits greater than OnePlus 7 Pro that preceded it. Apart from that, we have heard that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is also optimizing its OxygenOS, one of the fastest and smoothest UI, to make proper use of its 120Hz refresh rate for a faster and smoother user experience through the system. The company has also improved the haptic-based responses thanks to its ‘Haptics 2.0’.

OnePlus 8 Pro along with OnePlus 8, 8 Lite, and a lesser-known OnePlus Z are expected to arrive on April 15th. Stay tuned on TechTantrum to know more about the device and its launch.
