We have already seen a tonne of leaks and rumors around the upcoming OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro touted to release this March. It was earlier reported that both the phones will have a front punch-hole cut-out and corroborating on the same with the latest update, the punch hole has a diameter of just 3.8mm. This comes from a reputed leakster Digital Chat Station on Weibo and Twitter.
According to the information available, both the phones aka OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will have a thickness of 8mm and 8.5mm respectively and neither of the models will weigh more than 200 grams. Further, the OnePlus 9 will pack in a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED flat display with a speedy 120Hz refresh rate with its front camera mounted on the top-left corner. Similarly, the OnePlus 9 Pro will in a more premium 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate flexible curved display. This contradicts previous leaks that the OnePlus 9 Pro will pack in a 144Hz refresh rate.
Both the smartphones will pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC under the hood which is more powerful than its predecessors. According to the latest leaks, both the variants will pack in 4,500 mAh batteries along with 65W wired charging support. It isn’t too long since we reported that the OnePlus 9 Pro will pack in a 45W wireless charging support that you read here.
OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are expected to arrive sometime in March while there’s a third variant that is likely to make its entry. Summoned as OnePlus 9, the device is likely to arrive with a Snapdragon 865 or even the latest Snapdragon 870 chipset under the hood along with a 90Hz AMOLED display.
