Realme showcased the alluring and first-ever phone with a 64MP shooter a few days ago and it has already started sending invites for its next event scheduled on August 20 in New Delhi. Realme will be announcing the upcoming Realme 5 series at the said event as it did skip ‘4’ series as it is considered as bad omen in China.
Anyways, coming back to the August 20 launch event, Realme has starred pushing out the invites to media outlets where it will be launching Realme 5 series sporting quad-camera setup as it is signified by the camera setup on the invites as well as the hashtag “Quad5quad” that Realme is massively and aggressive promoting such as a latest tweet by Realme’s VP Madhav Sheth.
The tweet contains a simple yet exciting contest where Madhav has asked the users to decipher what does “4+48+586+119” means. For those who want to crack the code, Realme will select a few users with the right answers on replying with the hashtag “Quad5quad”. On the flip side, for those who can’t wait, the said code stands for a 4MP sensor, a primary 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and a macro lens along with an ultra wide-angle shooter with 119° FOV. Realme 5 series will also get a depth sensor for bokeh effects to conclude the quad-camera setup at the back. Let us know what you think about it. Watch out the launch on August 20 at 12:30 P.M.
Realme has reserved the phone with 64MP Samsung GM1 sensor for Diwali which is on October 27 so we could get the phone sometime around Diwali.
