Realme’s CEO Madhav Seth posted an image captured with a mysterious Realme smartphone with 64MP AI Quad Camera last month that was interestingly clear and detailed. Well, Realme is ready to announce the world’s first smartphone with a 64MP camera sensor on August 8 and it will be held in New Delhi, India for the very first time.
The upcoming Realme 64MP AI Quad Camera smartphone is the first phone from Realme to feature more than two cameras and the first to host currently the largest 64MP sensor that was introduced by Samsung earlier this year. I am talking about the 64MP GW1 1/1.72” sensor that Samsung unveiled earlier this year with a bigger pixel size of 1.6microns allowing the smartphone to capture breathtaking images even in low-light conditions.

Coming back to this mysterious Realme 64MP Quad Camera, it is interesting how Realme has managed to squeeze in a four-camera setup at the back with a primary 64MP sensor. Scheduled for August 8, media outlets suggests that this could be the upcoming Realme 4 series i.e. either Realme 4 or Realme 4 Pro although it could be a standalone lineup from the smartphone manufacturer as well as since there is no official word about the moniker to be used until Realme doesn’t hold its ‘realme Camera Innovation Event’ on 08.08.2019.
Presently, Realme is not the only one talking about a 64MP sensor although it is the first to release one with it. Xiaomi’s smartphone with a 64MP is in the making as well and similarly, Samsung is also troubleshooting an upcoming A-series smartphone that will get the colossal 64MP sensor as well.
Here’s a list of Realme smartphones that you can buy on Amazon at the moment. For Realme 4/4 Pro, we will have to wait till August 8 to know more about it.
