South Korean giant Samsung’s largest mobile experience store in the Indian subcontinent, the Opera House outlet in Bengaluru, confirmed an array of details regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
The folks at the store confirmed that the global launch of the series is due on January 14 followed by shipping starting on January 22. The eager Samsung fans will have to wait till January 29 to get their hands on any Samsung Galaxy S21 series model due to stocks availability a week.
The store confirmed a few interesting details about the specifications as well. The most intriguing is that the Indian variant of the trio will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2100 chipset. The U.S. and a few other markets will get the Snapdragon 888 under the hood.
Proceeding further, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will carry a quad-camera setup with the primary being a 108MP sensor paired with two 10MP sensors one of which sports a 10x optical zoom capability. There’s a fourth camera although there’s not much confirmation available but is highly likely to be a 12MP ultrawide sensor.
Talking about the colorways, the Samsung Galaxy S21 will launch in white, purple, and gray. The Galaxy S21+ will arrive in Silver, Purple, Pink, and Black. Finally, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will arrive in Black and Silver colorways.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Series Pricing
Apparently, an industry insider said that the Galaxy S21 series pricing will remain unchanged compared to last year’s Galaxy S20 pricing. Based on these details, the Galaxy S21 is likely to arrive at a price tag of INR 67,000/- while the higher S21+ will likely fetch a price tag of INR 74,000/-. Finally, the eldest of all, the Galaxy S21 Ultra price is likely to be around INR 93,000/-.
The price tags for the US and European markets are $900/900, $999/999, and $1,399/1,399 respectively for the trio. Now you must understand that since the Galaxy S21 series poses many upgrades over the Galaxy S20 series, the pricing trend is likely going to increase. Thus, take it with a pinch of salt at this moment until the official prices aren’t confirmed.
According to the Indian Samsung Store, the pre-orders for Galaxy S21-series have already started. Users can simply pay INR 2,000 as an advance without choosing their preferred model at the moment. Once the series launches in India officially, users can purchase their preferred model without any hassle.
Stay tuned for launch coverage on January 14.
