There was a tonne of rumors that the OnePlus 8T Pro would not release this year. As opposed to the usual release, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that there won’t be an OnePlus 8T Pro officially. The upcoming October 14 launch event will be for the upcoming OnePlus 8T only.
Pete Lau further added that those users who want to try ‘Pro-level products’ can still buy OnePlus 8 Pro which he regarded as a machine king or say flagship device. He added that the company doesn’t want users to keep upgrading their devices every six months and rather get a Pro device once a year and thus, he recommended using OnePlus 8 Pro if anyone wants to try out a Pro experience.
OnePlus 8T sports a 6.55” Fluid AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 865+ processor paired with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. A beefy 4500 mAh battery sits under the hood clubbed with an ultra-fast 65W SuperDart fast charging tech. Check out our “OnePlus 8T Specifications”.
Lau further said that they have planned a few surprises next month which includes a smartwatch, TWS earphones, and a new OnePlus Nord probably called OnePlus Nord N10 5G for the U.S. market and so on.
