Last month, Vivo sub-brand iQOO teased that an upcoming 5G smartphone could launch in Q3 2019 which is between July and September. Well, turns out iQOO has announced to launch its iQOO Pro 5G after posting a photo on Weibo. Although it was not that easy to discern any details like the image was comparatively dark, brightening the image gives slightly more details such as the fact that the upcoming iQOO Pro 5G will look similar to the original iQOO smartphone launched in March this year.
The device also has a triple camera array arranged in a vertical stack and will feature specifications like Snapdragon 855+ SoC along with ultra-fast 120Q fast charging support among other configurations.
Note that it might not be the only 5G device at the launch. We have already seen that a 5G-enabled iQOO Plus is also making the rounds that will feature Snapdragon 855+ SoC, 128GB storage and 8GB RAM along with 44W fast charging and 4,500 mAh battery. The device could be listed with a price tag of CNY4,498 or $655.
