Yesterday, I received an update on my PUBG Mobile app on my OnePlus 6 and since almost all the rollouts are global, this means almost everyone might have received the update sized at 475MB. Simply go to Google Play Store, type in PUBG and there you have it and the same goes for iOS devices well. So, what is new with the latest update?
What’s new in this PUBG Mobile update?
To shed light on the latest update, not a lot of things have changed but there are some add-ons and more that you can enjoy now. First up, the ‘On My Way’ song from Alan Walker is gone and replaced by PUBG’s musical tune and the overall theme has been updated to the ‘Spring’ season. The background image on the home screen has changed and so are few other things.
In its sixth season, Apart from the Zombie Mode tagged as ‘Survive Till Dawn 2’, there is a new addon to this series with ‘Darkest Night’ where the players are required to survive a night filled with adrenaline-inducing zombies with the task to survive the night with friends. Yes, with friends because you can’t just win it alone and you’ll need to keep all the friends safe whilst fighting the zombies towards winning it.
All the new modes will be added under ‘EvoGround’ where Tencent Mobile will be adding new modes soon. PUBG Mobile has also attuned difficulty levels as well as added new weapons in the EvoGround mode.
Finally, apart from waiting for a considerable time, we now have ‘Spectator Mode’ which enables users to spectate matches of their friends, clan members, crew, and others with added privacy settings.
Whilst playing a game if your friend is waiting outside, he/she can drop a message and you’ll see that in the quick chat menu whilst in the game and you can reply them too although this feature was added in the previous update. That’s probably all I spotted during the initial gaming session on PUBG Mobile. Comment below if we left something in-between with regards to the latest PUBGM update.
