It has been some time since Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone is making the rounds of the internet and this is another one about it. A Weibo user posted a specs sheet of an upcoming Xiaomi flagship smartphone probably the one we have seen at several instances thanks to spy shots that are all over the web.
Based on the specs sheet, we can confer that the upcoming Xiaomi flagship smartphone will of course sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 or which is commonly known as Snapdragon 855 and it is based on a 7nm manufacturing process that makes it quite faster than the previous gen 10nm Snapdragon 845 chipset.
Next bit of information that comes with the leak is its display size i.e. 6.39-inch with 2,390 x 1,080 pixels resolution. The device will pack in a humongous 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which could be its base model although there are chances of a phone with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage as well.
Finally, the leak gives further evidence on the device’s camera setup that is a 32MP single selfie shooter probably housed in a notch or as it is being speculated in a pop-up mechanism, however, the latter is less likely but we aren’t sure about it yet. The device will have a triple camera set up at the back similar to any flagship smartphone released this year and it will consist of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP secondary sensor probably with telephoto lens and finally, a third 13MP sensor but there’s no hint on the presence of a ToF sensor here which means it isn’t available with it.
It has been several times that a Xiaomi smartphone clad in red color has been spotted thanks to spy shots. It was last seen in China when the Redmi CEO was caught holding it when it was pictured. Could it be the same smartphone? We don’t know as of now but yes, we will find it and inform you all about it for sure at TechTantrum.
