Mysterious OnePlus phone pops up on BIS hinting imminent launch in India

OnePlus is working on a Nord series smartphone expected to arrive in India in a couple of weeks. Cut to now, we have seen a new mid-range OnePlus smartphone bearing model number CPH2613 certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Although not much is known about the upcoming OnePlus phone, here’s what we could gather from the previous leaks.

The OnePlus phone bearing model number CPH2613 is poised to be a mid-range device as evidenced by the renders leaked and also otherwise. The phone shows a flat back panel, possibly monotone, with a dual rear camera setup housed within a vertical camera bump. The sides are flat as well with the right housing the power plus volume rockers.

As you can see in the renders by 91Mobiles, the phone brings a USB-C port at the bottom alongside a bottom-firing loudspeaker and a SIM card while the top reportedly has a secondary mic plus a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Talking about the specs, previous leaks suggest the mysterious OnePlus phone has a dual camera setup at the back. It uses a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS+EIS, and pixel binning to 12.6MP. There’s a secondary shooter at the back possibly using an auxiliary sensor. There’s a 16MP shooter at the front housed in a centered punch-hole cut-out.

The phone is likely to bring an AMOLED display since we get an under-the-display fingerprint scanner onboard. Not much is known about the mysterious OnePlus phone so we will have to wait to know more about it in the coming days.

Some sources suggest it is likely a OnePlus Nord CE 5 or Nord CE 5 Lite possibly powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, respectively. But hey, take it with a pinch of salt at the moment.
