Chinese smartphone maker Nubia is gearing up for its next big launch aka the Nubia Z60 Ultra on December 19. It will join the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 wagon once it arrives in the country after Xiaomi 14 Pro, iQOO 12 Pro, OnePlus 12, and Realme GT5 Pro make their debut in the market. Nubia is focusing on the phone’s photography chops as seen in the official teaser posters and camera samples spotted recently.
Nubia Z60 Ultra Camera Specs
The official teaser posters show all three cameras mounted on the Nubia Z60 Ultra will be equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The rear camera assembly picks up a 50MP primary sensor with an 18mm focal length flanked with a 50 MP ultra-wide lens with a 35mm focal length. The latter is likely to surpass the capabilities of one-inch sensors spotted on recent flagships as per the Chinese giant.
Finally, there’s a third 64MP periscope telephoto lens on board with 85mm focal length. As mentioned above, all three cameras at the back sport OIS which will be probably the first of its kind.
Nubia Z60 Ultra Camera Samples
Netizens are eagerly waiting for Nubia Z60 Ultra to drop by after the Chinese giant started teasing the phone promising an elevated photography experience. Nubia claims the Z60 Ultra sports the world’s first main camera-level wide-angle feature with an f/1.8 aperture and 1/1.56-inch sensor size. It will also have an OIS anti-shake technology thanks to an eight-axis suspension stabilizer motor.

Concerning the leaked specifications ahead of the launch, the Nubia Z60 Ultra is likely to sport a fully immersive display at 6.8” OLED with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to bring a 5th-gen under-the-display camera (UDC) with a 16MP sensor.
The flagship phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC alongside 1TB UFS 4.0 storage and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. There’s a 5000mAh battery pack on board with 80W fast charging tech to name a few.

Nubia Z60 Ultra is all set to launch in China on December 19 at 14:00 local time. There’s no update if the Z60 Ultra will be available outside China at the moment.
