Xiaomi is gearing up for its next big launch aka the Xiaomi 14 series for the Chinese market on October 27 as per the latest rumors. Well, the phones have been leaked quite a lot of times including their details, specs, design, and whatnot. The latest comes from tipster Anvin that puts specifications for the upcoming Xiaomi 14 on the table albeit it is better to take it with a pinch of salt.
Xiaomi 14 Leaked Specifications
According to Anvin on X (formerly Twitter), Xiaomi 14’s poster appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo teasing the probable specifications. It includes a 6.44” Huaxing C8 OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 2,800 nits of brightness. The display sports 12-bit colors, HDR10+, DCI-P3 color gamut, and Dolby Vision to name a few features.
We have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 onboard Xiaomi 14 that will officially debut at the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii to be held between October 24 and 26. Undoubtedly, Xiaomi 14 will be the first to pick up this powerful chip that recently crossed the 2 million mark on AnTuTu benchmarking.
Moving on, we have a UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM of unknown configurations. There’s a beefy 4,600mAh battery paired with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support to take the battery from 0 to 100% in no time (metaphorically, of course). There’s a 10W reverse charging too should you need to charge any other device.
On the optics end, rumors have it that the phone packs in a triple camera setup. It comprises a 50MP OmnivVion OV50H primary cam with OIS, 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto camera setup. The leaked poster shows the placement of these cams as well with two giant sensors placed diagonally followed by a third sensor and an LED flash placed on the opposite diagonal axis.
Apart from that, there’s a large VC cooling system, dual stereo speakers, an IP68 rating, an IR blaster, dual-frequency GPS, and a 2-in-1 acoustic motor among other specs onboard.
Be cautious as these are leaked Xiaomi 14 specs found on Weibo and may not materialize as is once the phone sees daylight on October 27. Thus, take it with a pinch of salt. Follow us for updates on the Xiaomi 14 series launch and beyond.
